Veteran's Day program honors Walworth County Veterans

The fourth annual Veteran's Day program honoring Walworth County residents who served in the U.S. Armed Forces will be hosted by the Walworth County Historical Society. The event will take place at 1pm Friday, November 11th at Heritage Hall in Elkhorn. In attendance will be the Daughters of the Union Veterans Civil War and the Daughters of American Revolution.  The keynote Speaker will be Ron Borowski, a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1960-1963. Borowski is currently a Stars an Stripes Honor Flight volunteer and member of their speaker's bureau. Veterans and current military personnel will be introduced, refreshments will be served and the Veterans Museum at the Walworth County Historical Society will be open for tours.
