Poetry with James Hamilton

Enjoy a poetry reading for National Poetry Month from Wisconsin author James Hamilton. James will read from his 6th collection of poetry, Dope Words. The collection features authentic themes of politics, addiction, climate change, homelessness, and love. 
James is a six-time internationally published author and spoken word performance artist who regularly appears on the #TOOM broadcast from the legendary Nuyorican Poets Café in New York City. He is a member of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets and POET (People of Extraordinary Talent) in Chicago. You can often find James Hamilton at local open mic events across Wisconsin, where he shares his powerful verses. His presence in these gatherings has become a mainstay, captivating audiences with his heartfelt delivery.
