Money Smart Week: Financial Literacy

Each year the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve dedicate a week in April for promoting financial literacy and independence. This year, Money Smart Week is April 21-28. The library is hosting Amanda Kostman from the UW Extension Service and she will be talking about budgeting and managing your income, practical saving tips for retirement or for realizing a special dream, and ways to avoid financial pitfalls as you go through life.
