If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to cross stitch, this class is for you. Library staff member Shelly Wilson teaches how to create simple designs using patterns supplied by Country Living magazine. This is a beginner’s class, developed for those who have never done cross stitch before. It is a two-part class. This first class will be used to learn how to read the pattern and begin stitching; participants will take their project home to work on it and bring it back for the second class (held on January 20) in which they will learn how to finish and make it suitable for hanging.
All materials will be provided, but space is limited to 10 participants and registration is required. Registration opens January 3; please register by calling 262-723-2678 or by visiting https://www.elkhorn.lib.wi.us/wordpress/calendar/ to reserve your spot. Registrants must also complete the form found at https://bit.ly/31oBSkr in order to choose which design they would like to complete in order for materials to be assembled before the first class.
