Dealing with Dementia

You are cordially invited to attend a showing of the documentary "Dealing with Dementia" filmed by WisconsinEye. The program will include episodes from this series showing the increasing concerns an needs pertaining to the growing numbers of individuals experiencing Alzheimer's and related dementia in the State of Wisconsin. This event will focus on the Dementia Friendly initiative happening throughout the State, the community of Elkhorn and Walworth County. Come and meet representatives from agencies/businesses in Elkhorn which have gone through training and are receiving designation as "Dementia Friendly". The group includes: Associated Bank, Matheson Memorial Library, VIP Services, Sp. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Elkhorn Police Department.
Come and learn what it means to be "Dementia Friendly" and the importance it has for our community. Also hear about upcoming training programs for our community.
