Ever Wanted to Brew Your Own Beer? Come Learn at the Library!

Wisconsin is home to many famous beer breweries, including Duesterbeck’s right here in Elkhorn. Now you have the opportunity to learn some of their secrets as Duesterbeck’s owner and brewmaster Dr. Ben Johnson visits the library to show what goes in to making a great beer, and how you can try it out for yourself. In addition, he’ll relate stories of how he got into beer brewing, and how he manages running a brewery while maintaining his dental practice.

This 60 minute program will be held in the library’s Community Center. Unfortunately, Dr. Johnson will not be offering beer samples, but he will be relating some very cool information!
